Asis Datta

Asis Datta brings an impressive 40 years of experience in Technical Operation of Crude, Product, and LPG Tankers, as well as DP vessels.

He began his career in 1976 as a 5th Engineer with Scindia Steam and worked his way up to Chief Engineer for bulk and general cargo.

Asis's expertise lies in various aspects of fleet management, including the Type of Management of Assets, Fleet Asset Maintenance, Running Budget and Docking/Layup Re-commissioning, Effective Training and Manning of Fleet, and Purchase/Sale of Vessels.

He is skilled in policy matters, execution of quality and safety management systems, monitoring KPIs, planned maintenance system upkeep, defect monitoring and rectification schedules, budget preparation and adherence, training and manning, and providing technical support for business development initiatives.
